About Me

I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2012 with my Bachelor's Degree in special education with a cognitive impairment endorsement.

My husband and I were married in  January 2013.

My husband and I welcomed our first child to the world in April 2016.

In the Fall of 2012, I started my career as a special education teacher. I teach 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders in a categorical classroom.

In May of 2015, our dreams came true of owning a lake house!

My fur child, Bear. He will be 4 years old in September.

I will be completing my Masters degree this August 2016.

Advocacy refers to speaking out and taking action in pursuit of a cause.

I am an advocate for people with special needs.
